Jason M. Koral, Partner

Jason M. Koral is a veteran trial lawyer, with nearly 20 years’ experience working in some of the nation’s most prestigious law firms.  For eight of those years, he was a partner in the New York office of Cooley LLP, where he litigated high profile cases for cutting-edge clients.  He served as first chair trial counsel in a number of multi-million dollar disputes, representing technology, media, and industrial companies, as well as wealthy individuals.

 

Prior to his time at Cooley, Mr. Koral worked on capital markets deals and represented clients in international arbitration at the Frankfurt, Germany office of Shearman & Sterling.  His past experience in transactional law contributes to his creative, business-focused approach to addressing legal problems.

 

Mr. Koral graduated magna cum laude from Yale University in 1993.  He then attended Harvard, where he obtained his law degree cum laude, as well as a Masters in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, both in 1997.

 

Mr. Koral is the co-author of the chapter on agency law for the leading treatise Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the New York County Lawyers Association.
